AGYAGFALVA

The ancient gathering place of the Szeklers is located on the banks of the Fancsika Stream, in the northern part of the Bögöz Basin.

BÉTA

It is an inexhaustible repository of fair stories, the land of carts. This village is located at the confluence of Béta, Egrös and Sásárka streams.

BÖGÖZ

The most beautiful medieval church of Udvarhely Seat can be found in this village center. The Nagy-Küküllő crosses this settlement, which has a long history.

DÉCSFALVA

According to a legend, this village was named after a respectable man called Décs. The recently built church is the pride of the settlement.

MÁTISFALVA

Palló Imre, the master of Hungarian folk songs, was born in the valley of Kecskés Stream. The first written mention of the village dates from 1567.

SZÉKELYDOBÓ

It is located on the southern slope of the Rez Peak, in the valley of Vágás Stream. Together with two neighboring villages, it is considered the home of the straw hat.

SZÉKELYMAGYAROS

This village is located on the right bank of the Nagy-Küküllő, below the Leső Mountain, and probably got its name from the hazel bushes.

VÁGÁS

It is the center of the former Vágás village. Its Roman Catholic church was built by the people of three villages, and it is guarded by oak trees.
